AMOS JONES was born 23 July 1754, and died 12 September 1827 in Harford County, Maryland. He married ANNE LEWIN, the widow of John Lewin, on 26 August 1783 in Baltimore City, Baltimore County. She was born 1755 in New Jersey and died 06 February 1850 in Harford County, Maryland.

Notes: Jones family bible - Amos Jones Born July 23rd 1754. Died September 12th 1827 Aged 73 years 1 month & 19 days. His dying words to his children - "you are all of age therefore walk respectfully with each other & with the world". In September 1775, Amos Jones served in Captain John Taylor's Company No. 7 of the Harford County Militia.

DANIEL JONES was born 1784, and died 14 April 1848 in Harford County, Maryland. He married Rebecca Charlotte Scarborough.

PHINEAS H. JONES maried first Mary, then Virginia Thomas on 30 October 1821 in Cecil County, Maryland.

HUGH JONES was born 23 December 1791 in Baltimore County, Maryland, and died 01 March 1864 in Harford County, Maryland. He married Rebecca Ann Kidd, the daughter of James Kidd and Rebecca Lyon, on 20 December 1821 in Cecil County, Maryland. She was born 05 November 1803 in Cecil County, Maryland, and died 19 March 1855 in Harford County, Maryland.

ANN JONES was born about 1799 and died on 02 February 1823. She married David Atkinson.

MARY JONES was born about 1801 and died on 02 August 1833. She married William Thompson.
