ASHMORE PUSEY NULL (DAVID4, GEORGE3, JOHN HENRY2, JOHANN FRANTZ1) was born 16 May 1852 in Atglen, Chester County, Pennsylvania, and died 08 July 1940 in Fairmont, Marion County, West Virginia. On 30 December 1880, he married LAURA ELLA MCCARTER, the daughter of Alexander L. McCarter and Harriet Robinson, in Atglen, Chester County, Pennsylvania. She was born 06 July 1860 in Chester County, Pennsylvania and died 28 September 1942 in Fairmont, Marion County, West Virginia. Ashmore and Laura McCarter Null are buried at the Brandywine Cemetery in Wilmington, Delaware.

Daily Local News 6 January 1881: "Null-McCarter - On December 30th, 1880, at the home of the bride's parents, in Atglen, Rev. I.M. Gable, Mr. Ashman P. Null, of Lancaster county, and Miss Laura E. McCarter, of Chester county."

 

Children of ASHMORE NULL and LAURA MCCARTER:

IVY PAULINE NULL was born 26 November 1885 in Christiania, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, and died March 1969 in Fairmont, Marion County, West Virginia. She married Edward Foster Henderson, the son of Julius E. Henderson and Emma Foster. He was born 16 October 1881 in Pocomoke City, Worcester County, Maryland, and died 20 May 1944 in Fairmont, Marion County, West Virginia.

VERA NULL was born in January of 1888 and married George L. Watson. Colonel Watson was born 13 December 1884 and died in October of 1976. He served with distinction with the AEF during World War I and at Edgewood Arsenal during World War II. The Watsons resided in Sea Girt, New Jersey.

NELLIE NULL was born in December of 1891.
