She married Hugh Jones, the son of Amos Jones and Anne Lewin, on 20 December 1821 in Cecil County, Maryland. He was born 23 December 1791 in Baltimore County, Maryland and died 01 March 1864 in Harford County, Maryland

RICHARD KIDD was born on 02 January 1805 and died 06 December 1841. He was married on 04 June 1837 to Mary Eliza, who was born 28 December 1811 and died 02 July 1901

JAMES TAYLOR KIDD was born on 22 November 1805 and died 28 November 1813

Kidd Antecedents

Generation No. 1

ANDREW KIDD, SR. was born in County Tyrone, Ireland, and died Abt. 1790 in Cecil County, Maryland. He married MARTHA TAYLOR, daughter of (---?---) TAYLOR and MARTHA TAYLOR. ANDREW KIDD came from the county of Tyrone, near Londonderry, northern Ireland, with his wife MARTHA TAYLOR, and first son JOHN. He first settled in New Castle Delaware in 1754, later moving to Cecil County, Maryland. There is a very interesting letter which was owned by J. C. KIDD written by MARTHA TAYLOR, mother of MARTHA TAYLOR, wife of ANDREW KIDD dated Margargey, Ireland, May 29, 1784. In it she says she is sick and confined to her bed. She explains the existence of a will, and she tells ANDREW what she bequeaths to him and his wife. She sends messages to her sons-in-law, JOSHUA BROWN, and ROBERT BELL, the heads of two old Cecil County Maryland families.

HUGH LYON married MARGARET STERRETT, daughter of JOHN STERRETT and PEGGY PEACOCK. Hugh and Margaret Lyon had eight children - five boys and three girls, among whom were John Lyon and Rebecca Lyon. John Lyon married Elizabeth Kidd. Rebecca Lyon married Elizabeth's brother James Kidd.
